Society Hall

Society Hall is a two story Greek Revival Structure built in 1858-59.  This building was used as classrooms and meeting rooms when the college was in its prime.  There was another "twin" buildling on the campus, but it burned sometime before 1900 after being struck by lightning.

An extensive renovation of Society Hall is presently underway.

RamJack, an international foundation solution company, has just completed stablizing the four corners of the building.  These corners were compromised over the years due to an unstable foundation.  Now that this project is complete, the renovation plan can begin its next phase.

Gutters are planned in the next phase of renovation.  These will be fitting to the exterior facade of the building.  After the gutters are in place, the brickwork will be re-pointed.
